About Janet

"I believe everyone deserves to have an image they love.  One that captures who you are,  looking your very best".

I have been photographing people for over 20 years, and I love that we are all different and uniquely beautiful. We all have fears in front of the camera and my specialty is taking that fear away and making it fun and even enjoyable.

I will help you plan for your photo-shoot as well as guide you through the whole process. I take the time to pose you and I will make sure all the details are in place. That's not to say I don't capture spontaneity, as the best images are all about true expression and emotion.  

I am a wife, a mother of three, and a doggie mamma of a little Shih Tzu named Wolfgang (aka Wolfie). When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me hanging out with the family, reading, or just enjoying a nice glass of wine

She is the current President of The Professional Photographers of San Diego County, and was awarded Senior Portrait Photographer of the Year for 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. She was also awarded Photographer of the Year for 2019. She attends workshops and seminars regularly,  always striving to be at the top of her game.
